BEHZISTY POWER GENERATOR PROJECT

The Narmak Behzisty Institution in Tehran cares for over 600 mentally and physically disadvantaged children. Many of the children at this center have severe disabilities, and the vital treatments they require depend entirely on medical equipment powered by a reliable source of electricity. However, frequent power outages in Tehran, especially during the summer, had made the need for a power generator more urgent than ever.

In 2015/2016, the FACE Supporters proudly facilitated the purchase, delivery, and installation of a 275KW power generator for the Behzisty Institution. The institution, primarily funded by the public and selected charities, lacked the resources and manpower to execute a project of this magnitude. The installation process, which took approximately eight months, ensured the institution could operate efficiently and meet the children’s needs. As the institution described it, the project was “a dream come true".
