PROSTHETIC ARMS PROJECT

In a significant effort to support an individual who experienced the life-changing loss of both arms, FACE launched a comprehensive initiative to find an organisation who can provide the state of art prosthetic limbs, focusing on practicality and latest available technology. This effort involved substantial investment in research and development to design and produce advanced prosthetic arms that incorporate cutting-edge technology, ensuring adaptability, precision, and ease of use. By prioritising both performance and user comfort, the prosthetic arms were tailored to the to the recipient’s specific requirement, in June 2021, restoring a high degree of autonomy and enhancing his quality of life. This project highlights our commitment to harnessing technological advancements for meaningful social impact, reflecting our dedication to transforming lives through targeted, high-value interventions. This project was completed in May 2022.
