TEACHING INSTITUTE FOR BLIND CHILDREN

   The HAA Teaching Institute for the Blind is located in Shar-e-Ray, south of Tehran. The school accommodates approximately 60 fully blind or partially sighted pupils and requires specialized equipment and teaching assistants to support their learning. In 2017, FACE successfully fulfilled the following needs for the school. 

• The school received a complete facelift, including the redecoration of classrooms, to provide clean and healthy surroundings for the children.
• Brand-new benches were supplied for all pupils in the school.
• All blind students were provided with the latest electronic audio learning equipment.
• A new computer was installed to support the children’s learning.
• Specialized sports facilities were introduced for blind children.
• The school was equipped with a state-of-the-art Braille printer.
